· The 2018-19 Special Education Excess Cost claim will be due July 15 instead of August 15 as in the past. The reason is that issues arise in preparing tuition cost sheets that may impact both the regular term Special Education Orphanage claim as well as the Special Education Excess Cost claim. The staggered due dates in the past prohibited changes that impacted the final Special Education Orphanage claim. The timing for vouchering final payments for both programs remain the same. The regular term Special Education Orphanage claim will be vouchered on or before August 31. The Special Education Excess Cost claim will be paid on or before September 30.
