Emergency Placements in Nonapproved Residential Facilities
ISBE has responded to the February 4, 2022, Emergency Rules that allow for reimbursement for placements made by due process hearing officers in nonapproved residential facilities and for emergency and student-specific residential placements in nonapproved facilities when no approved facility has accepted the student or no immediate placement has been made available.
